Norbert Haumer has been running his Goldsmith's shop in the Grevener pedestrian zone for more than 45 years. At an early stage, he recognized the advantages of electronic goods management in administration. And so he had his son write a program that took over this function. For a quarter of a century, the home-made solution ran smoothly before it could no longer keep up with the changing times. "After our program was no longer working with Windows, I looked in a trade journal for alternatives," says Haumer.
